It’s time for another Make-A-Wish Success Story! This week, we learned about Tyler’s wish.
Tyler is an 18-year old putting up a tough battle against Lymphoma. When asked what wish he wanted granted, he asked for an amazing journey through Alaska on a Royal Caribbean Cruise. His adventure began with a limo ride to the airport. “I can’t believe this is happening!” he exclaimed, as him and his family began their voyage to Alaska.
Over the course of the trip, Tyler enjoyed a number of experiences. His experiences included: a whale watching expedition, traveling through the mountains and glaciers, a train ride into Yukon Territory, a day spent in Vancouver, wildlife encounters and much more.
In the end, Tyler could not be happier with his cruise – he cannot even choose what his favorite experience was! He exclaims, “all of them were amazing!” We are so glad to hear this!
It is wishes like this that prove to us again and again why we choose to work with such an amazing organization. Everyone deserves to have “their day” and their wish granted. It is heart-warming to know that we are a part of such a great project and organization.
Astonish is beyond proud that with the help of clients and friends, we were able to raise a whopping $26,841 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation during December 2012. Because of this, we are able to grant beautiful wishes, such as Tyler’s story above. As always, we are PSYCHED and EXCITED to hear such a success story and cannot wait to hear more in the future!
